Two movies I have to recommend to see are “The Inglourious Basterds” for the usual Tarantino jazz and humour and “District 9” for the sci-fi goodness. Both really good movies~ I don’t want to say too much just in case I end up spoiling it!

I got 1st place in a hopping arcade game called "Hopping road", it's so fun! Though I'm 100% sure it's a kid's game... it's just SO FUN!!

I also have good news to share~! I managed to creep my way into the 14 finalist for the Japan Matsuri exhibition competition!! It’s so surreal… At first I thought we just drew them a picture and it’ll be displayed in the exhibition if chosen, but they’re also supplying exhibition space to showcase our other works too! Thank you so much for everyone who voted for me~!! I can’t say enough thank yous, but it really means a lot to me, such a rare opportunity!
I hope UK residents can find the time to come to the Japan Matsuri event! It’s my first time attending (I’m not sure if there were any previous ones?) so I’m really excited!

I went to Thorpe Park last week on my day off work~! It was really fun and wasn’t so packed as we thought it’ll be, as summer is ending. Didn’t manage to go on all the rides as time was limited and… because I’m bad with the majority of the rides… (spinning ones!!)
I got to ride The SAW ride though… we waited over an hour for it and it was quite cool, a bit short, I was expecting more when the ride started slowing down to an end. Colossus was more worth the wait though~ During the ride, I strained my neck and it only really recovered today… still a bit painful.

I also went to meet up with a good friend and got to try this ice cream dessert? I can’t really remember what it’s called… something QQ ice cream…? It was really nice; I got mango flavour, whilst she ordered kiwi. I highly recommend it if anyone stumbles upon it!



It’s already September!! I have so much things I need to sort out… I’m actually not so keen on this month since this is when depression hits! School starts and summer ends… boo hoo~
