I can't believe it's July starting tomorrow...
It's so weird how fast a month goes by, when I think back, I haven't done an awful lot~ (.__. ;; )
(Though I did get taxed an awful lot for a part timer! A 3 digit sum... TAT!! How hurtful~!!!! *Cries inside*)

Any ways, a chibi Melon! (I would die to eat some water melon right now!!) I thought it'll be cute as stationary design for when I get a table at an expo~! ♥
Table plans are on hold/no longer going forward as Wing got an awesome design job working for Eyeko!! ♥♥♥
I don't really feel right having a table without her, since it was her idea too and she encouraged me to work towards it! T^T~!! So it's a bit "bleh" if I was to replace her with someone else~! Wouldn't feel right at all~~ TAT;;
It's a huge relief though~! Ahaha, I wonder if I'm at that standard yet, where my work is sellable * 3*;; most of my stuff are not professionally finished and such! *wipes sweat* It also gives me some time for me to plan out my manga more...!

I still have to tweak some pages a bit more and have to organise and upload the graphic design section! I'm really dreading it as I'm trying to find a way to present my work as well as the current gallery...! I also got my monitor resolution wrong, so everything is a lot bigger for my screen~

Doodle~! Was supposed to be for Timbermoonkiss on deviantart for being so sweet to me...
but I felt like I ought to draw her something better *__*!!

As for my foundation results, I got a distinction on my essay... which funnily enough, 90% of it was recycled from my A2 essay~ and I got a Merit, close to distinction on my final piece *__*!!

I feel kind of relieved, I thought I'll only get a high pass (a pass is still a pass!) The only thing it let me down was the way I presented my final piece... T3T;; as it didn't scream out what the concept was... a lot of people got confused~! ahaha XD;;

Made a gun for my final major project~! I thought it turned out quite well, considering I'm not really a 3D person!
In the end, due to the composition and space, I didn't end up using it T^T;!!
So I threw it away, but didn't get to take a photo of it complete~!!

How come line art done with biro is a huge NO NO? @__@?!
I quite like it to be honest~ and you can control the level of tone, by how lightly you press and such~
If there was smaller/finer biros (i.e. 0.05) I would definitely use these to ink comics! It would without a doubt suit seinen/ noir / horror manga in terms of creating an atmosphere in the story...

(If you're wondering how the net is attached onto her face... I don't know myself! It's sewn onto her scalp?!!! O__O;; )

I'm turning into a lazy potato~!! I've already set my mind to thinking it's the summer so I can laze around. It's so bad, considering I have my final major project deadline around the corner... *DOOM*
I need to get my motivation back in gear! TAT;;

[SPOILERS]

Went to watch "Knowing" yesterday... =__=;; it was really pants!
Started off being a mediocre film with a storyline used in other films or TV series (About numbers predicting events = > similar to LOST). Shove a little girl and lots of overlapping whispering (LOST) to set the horror atmosphere and that's the beginning! Then the epic mass deaths occur and the special effects were really amazing, however, the events and SFX are similar to Final Destination, its all been seen before.
With the hint about terrorism, they avoided being controversial and opted for an accidental disaster instead. Developing the Christianity influences of the film, the ending steered towards, angels/aliens, Adam + Eve, Noah’s ark etc. Man kind is doomed to die one day, but have faith because God will find a way to rescue us~ (Implying US as human kind not as an individual)
But what was the numbers all about? ~__~;; nothing was explained. It was perhaps a way to warn human kind to live life to the fullest while you can, yet in that process of the warning, sacrificed/ruined a young girl's life who took her own life in the end through an overdose? Also, why did Caleb start writing the numbers again? When this last epic event was the end of the world... =__=;;
Characters were under developed, I didn't feel attached to any of them. I didn't shed a tear at any scene... (And I cry at everything)

I also watched Paprika and Tekkon Kinreet recently!
I really liked Paprika, though it reminded me of Ghost in the Shell, but the light hearted/ colourful version! The animation was great and the unique parade character designs was truly amazing *__*!! Though I actually don't really remember much from it... ? It is obvious from the start, who are the "bad guys" and "good guy", so it's quite predictable from then onwards.

Tekkon Kinreet was okay, I was expecting something great after the huge hype and fan base on the internet. I can understand why it had such a huge fan base, due to the yaoi element between the brotherly relationship of Black and White and the fact the animation was exceptionally different.
At times, I feel like people tend to like the "very different" just to seem pretentious or to join/be the cool herd, if you don't happen to like it, the cult fan base will lash out on you, branding you unintelligent and to go indulge yourself into Hollywood action movies. However, the storyline isn't all that intelligent or hard to understand, it's actually incredibly simple. A lot of it was cliché, just set in a different world~ I really liked White's character though~ it's hardly ever portrayed in manga/anime, a "special" child. On the other hand, I feel like the film failed to deliver emotionally, I was not empathetic towards any of the characters or cried at all.
Nonetheless, the different world of Tekkon Kinreet was still mind blowing~

Ahhh... @__@;; another CG fail~!!

Saved it the wrong size and closed the window, so I can't really add much to it, because of how small the canvas size is!
It's supposed to be Angie, bonniebix 's character from Chocolate Radiance.

I was almost finished as well! Now I need to restart all over ~__~;; (I didn't like the hair any ways! *sweats*)

I'm almost finish school for Christmas Holidays!! Just need to get through my assessment which would grade all the work I've did up to now and allow me to continue to the next term I should be completing works now... But... I'm too tired... I hope I do well!!
I figured, after Christmas, I'll only have about 6 months MAX left of school... I seriously can't wait till the Summer!

It's almost Christmas!! Can't believe how quick time is going... I just need to CG/oekaki so badly

I come bearing good news!!
Today I went to pick up my college A2 results, after work (I forgot it was results day and said I'll do over time), I was actually lucky to be able to get my results... since they stopped giving them out at 2pm! (I arrived at 2.15pm)

I managed to bag myself 3 As~ A in all my subjects! Lucky lucky!
It'll need a while for it to sink in... I guess I would be more happy if I was applying to university~ as I'll need my grades!
But for my current foundation diploma course, I only need 1 A level to enrol... I'll be more nervous next year when applying to university!

I'm pretty sure I didn't win the Neo manga competition since in the forum, they've announced that they have notified all winners?
I'm eager for them to release the results and read their entries! HO HO HO!

I guess this means I can post a screen capture of when I was screentoning my manga hehe, I also decided I won't give self publishing a go~ I'll just upload it to my website for everyone to laugh at ~~!

Almost results day! Not that I'm worrying or anything~ it's just always at the back of my head? I don't know...
It's cold like Winter, I guess I need to get used to the depressing Winter weather that'll be approaching around the corner... /orz;;

Wow~ *__*;; something surreal and unbelievable happened to me! I got a daily deviation for my London expo, ginger bread piece!
It’s a bit… weird…? I don’t know how to word it! Though it’s something major right? *__*;; It was all too exciting for me to handle! @A@;;

Went to watch Batman: The dark knight, a few days ago; I was so excited since everyone kept saying how amazing it was! I guess it was okay, it started off really slow~ but plot wise it was good *0*!! I love Heath Ledger’s Joker, the laugh was spot on! Though there wasn’t much in the fight scenes, a lot of action was edited out/cut off screen?

I was watching the news earlier and they were talking about the rules/ laws in China (Olympics), mentioning how:
[1] If you're fat you are not allowed to wear horizontal stripes
[2] You're only allowed to wear white socks and black shoes.
[3] In the underground, you're not allowed to carry a TV or a refrigerator.

I can't believe it's August already! 0__0;;

Just came back from posting my NEO manga entry… I had to print it off first~ costing £2 (since the first copies were printed off wrong) I then went to the post office and sent it off by special delivery, so it’ll arrive tomorrow. It cost £4.60 for special delivery, so in total £6.60 was spent… T^T;;

Some reason when I printed of my entries, it looked so ugly! Not how it looks like on the computer~ I hope if it’s reduced to the size of authentic manga pages it’ll look better… /orz;;
I’m gonna work on my manga jiman entry asap to avoid doing it last minute… *Sweats*

Started to read, “You’re so cool”, it really is so cool and funny! I love how manwhas are character driven and how the characters have complicated sides to them that really make them seem human.

And some reason, I keep getting mistaken for an oriental foreigner [FOB] selling DVDs or a foreigner is general as they’ll speak their dialect… which… I don’t understand… o__o;

Helloo~~ seems like it’s been a while since I’ve updated! I’ve been occupied with many things! I’ve only just completed my Neo competition entry. *wipes sweats*

Even though I planned weeks ahead~ I slacked a lot and end up doing everything last minute again… I hope it’s up to a good standard!

I think I’m only going to enter the manga section and not the character art section… I’m not quite sure what they expect on the character art section~ Do they want a character design sheet or a CG featuring a character as focal point…? I feel quite sad that I'm not entering though~ but it can't be helped Plus, I rather produce a work that is finished and polished than a quick, rushed piece for the sake of it... /orz;;

I also watched WALL E last week~~ It’s so cute and lovable!! It’s definitely one of my favourite movies; I really like the petite cleaning robot, M0! I wish they’ll start manufacturing M0 alarm clocks; I’ll purchase one for sure! <3 *polishes him*
Presto, the short animation that is shown before WALL E, was just as good! The graphics were amazing~ and the bunny is just… so… edible in a cute way! <3

It’s horrible when you saved your CG correctly, but it’s gets corrupted in the process T^T;; (So it opens to a flatten file of colourful horizontal lines)

So much wasted hours and was almost complete as well!

Hello! ♥ Seems like a while since I've updated, though I think it's just a lot that happened within that time!

(Above are photos of my favourite soyaMILK mascot from the TOKIDOKI series! Hehe and next is gift from my brother, a pig money bank made from coconut, it's so cool~~!! *__* )

Let's see...
[1] Got to meet lainnocence, wing and Rik; who are all SUPER cool people! It was so easy/comfortable talking to them all and they were so nice to me! I had a lot of fun and didn't want to leave ♥ Now, for some reason, I have a more determined attitude towards drawing now!
[2] Started my NEO competition entry, though I haven't started inking yet... (But I'm some what happy with how it's going!)
[3] Got my first commission! I'm so happy as I never thought my art is commission-able/sell-able!

★ A whole lot of other stuff happened too~ But it'll be too much to write out! ahaha *lazy*

Below photo: When I went to the Banksy exhibition type thing again, with lainnocence, wing and Rik, I spotted my friend's work! ahaha~ Because it's scary and ugly~ it can only be his! 0__0!! (Plus it's something he'll say...)

I was showing my boyfriend my little sketchbook only for him to say, "Hey, isn't he the guy in you cookie picture?!"
Then I realised that they really do look the same! (It was unintentional!) Since I drew him so much times, maybe I should make him into a original character for a manga? T__T~~ But he has no name at this current moment...!

I’m so tired~ my eyes hurt as though they've been punched in... I’ve been getting double bags on my eyes recently…(I don’t think this has happened before? But I really am PANDA EYES now!) even though school is over and you would think I could sleep in as much as I want to.
For some odd reason, I can’t sleep at nights, maybe because I’m dreading the fact it’s another day closer to work! Ahaha, then I get waken up in the mornings~ like the other day where a dustbin truck was outside my house for a good 40 minutes! The engine roaring, dustbin men screaming and the sounds of numerous recycling bags crashing in the truck…is just… such a pleasant way to wake up…

I still have to work on my Neo competition entry, I wrote the script a while back, but I’ve been getting quite a few ideas (from my late nights of staying up) and not sure which one to run with! but I better start soon…!

[EDIT] Almost forgot! Went to watch HANCOCK today... it was... hmmm... predictable... not as funny as I expected it to be... I guess it was "trying" to evoke emotions from the audiences, but it ended up being all cliché~~! I wouldn't watch it again... nor do I recommend people watching it unless they are a DIE HARD Will Smith fan! (I don't like that pouty thing he kept doing... =3=;; )

Just went to watch "WANTED"; it was... hmm... silly due to the plot, somewhat predictable... but it's just one of those mindless Hollywood blockbusters to blank out in awe at the special effects *A*;; Though I have to admit how the editing was really amazing! Especially the way they cut to scenes and how they edited the anxiety attacks sequence!

SPOILER! One part that freaked me out was where he had to shoot dead people... =A=;; way too disturbing!
