Well, firstly- getting prepared for the Japanese art festival over the weekend, I realized at 5.30 that I had no change whatsoever, so spent about 1/2 an hour trying to scrape together enough change to tide me over the weekend. Then at about 7.30, I got an email from my editor asking for an illustration over the weekend, with a deadline on Monday [Ghiiiii!] I stalled, trying to ask for Tuesday since I was away all weekend [And I get totalled just going to cons, so there was no way I could do work at night] and went to the Japan culture con on Saturday with chamonkee  and we picked up yunni  on the way down, and had a greaaat day out :D
It's more or a general japanese culture festival, so rather than expect a load of sales, It was easier just to enjoy the day, eat lots of fooood [curry rice, karaage chicken and okonomiyaki and buy stuff i shouldn't have- such as two volumes of Gelatin which i ahd been eyeling up on amazon for ages, but I haven't quite worked myself up to buying as the exchange rate is still horrible. [Buying it in the UK pretty much means shelling out twice what it costs in Japan, but I really wanted to continue the story by Neonvision/houden eizou and there were some other comics in them which made them worth the buy. Plus I'm a sucker for Maeda stuff, and Mebae was a new artist that I liked as well. And redjuice well, yes,  I felt it was worth getting them.


Plus toi8 has been turning up in a lot of stuff that i unconciously pick up.

Then I got home on Sunday and DIED.
And got up very early Monday, puttered about, started getting a rough drawn for an illustration for a project I'm working on for this month :d [I can't do more than my own stuff since I have jury stupid duty this month] and then got my feedback from the editor after 9.am, and thus started a HARDCORE illustration day- esp since at around 4.30 I found out i was supposed to do another illustration, so we sacrificed complex colouring to get another one in under the wire.
then I died again.

the rest of this week, I'm dedicating to gettign the horribly complex looking illustration i designed yesterday morning done...
